2011 - Not A Bad Year For MMB Theatre 1 Project

Thanks for your support in 2011!

It was because of  the support and dedication from the Rochester playwrights, actors and community that MMB Theatre 1 Project  successfully staged our productions in 2011.

A LOOK BACK at 2011!

March, a two day stage reading of C. Kirkland Rivers two act play, "TALK" which was well recived by the MuCCC audience.

July, Robert Djed Snead (member of Playwrights/Directors in Residence) staged and directed his two original plays, "Black Man Blue" and "The Love that Hate Produced" at the Frederick Douglass Resource Center.

August, a two day staging of one act plays by local playwrights. The  4th annual Sankfa Evening of Theatre & Jazz in partnership with Exodus to Jazz.

October, we established MMB Theatre 1 Playwrights/Directors in Residence

December, the staging of  "Back Yard Stories ... from 1018 15th Avenue South" by C. Kirkland Rivers, featuring Playwrights in Residence, Marsha Jones, Annette Ramus and Robert Djed Snead.
